A Toast to Broadway
We are very pleased to announce that we have partnered with United Way of Lake County to bring a reprise performance of the popular ensemble, Broadway etc. This is a very special event for with proceeds benefiting the Womens Leadership Council of United Way of Lake County. The mission of the WLC is to improve the lives of women and children in Lake County and ensure that all children start school ready to succeed. This is accomplished through the Success by 6 program which is a multifaceted, integrated program for families with young children. Partnerships with schools, congregations and organizations that support needy families provide reinforcement of skills and tools that will help children get the right start.
The cast of Broadway etc. includes Joe Cardamone. Melissa Cardamone, Jennifer Franco, Steve Garside, Murry Holmstrom and Darya Glass. Joining us as guest artists for the performance will be Forum Jazz Dance Theatre of Libertyville Illinois. Directed by Eddy Ocampo, FJDT is one of the countries premier young Jazz Companies.
