The Sunshine Story Teller

The next production for the Theatre Ministry at the United Methodist church of Antioch, 848 Main St. will feature The Sunshine Story Teller, Ina Buckner-Barnette from Los Angeles a former Antioch Community High School graduate.

Ms. Buckner-Barnette is a commissioned artist with the J. Paul Getty Family Story Telling Program, as well as an award winning actress/hostess/producer with over 17 years of major market production credits as a T.V. producer/writer.


This delightful evening of entertainment is especially for children, but parents and friends will also be enchanted.  All proceeds will go toward the church's new playground equipment. 
 

Bob Schmelzer Retires from the Board

Bob SchmelzerOn August 22, 2010 the Board of Directors regretfully accepted the resignation of Bob Schmelzer from the Board of Directors of Festival Arts of Antioch. Bob is one of the originators and an active member of the Antioch Brass Quintet. Bob, a pilot for United Airlines sited his busy schedule as a reason for not being able to continue on the board. All board members would like to express their appreciation and gratitude for his service over the years.

The Sunshine Storyteller weaves international tales, movement and song to create her interactive shows.

Tickets: $3.00 for children and $5.00 for adults
